• Welcome

I am a leader with more than 20 years of experience in program management, basic city services, youth organizations, and community relations.

I know that working with the communities in District 5, we will achieve great success- together!

Working with Boston College, we hope to create a plan to renovate and reopen the Everett Theater in Hyde Park. Live music, movies, shows, meetings, and functions might be just a few of the venues. The work to continue to make District 5 and the rest of Boston is tremendous! This picture was taken yesterday from the old projection booth!

My office has gotten calls regarding the construction on Turtle Pond Parkway, so I wanted to give you an update.

IN THE SIMPLIST TERMS- This pipeline is to create a second pipe for this simple reason- if an event would happen that destroyed the original pipe, we’d have water!

Here is the cliff notes FYI!

MWRA Southern Extra Redundancy
Pipeline Section 111
Construction Contract 6454
Project Description

MWRA’s Southern Extra High (SEH) service area provides drinking water to Canton, Dedham, Norwood, Stoughton, Westwood, portions of Brookline and Milton, and the Roslindale and West Roxbury sections of Boston. Five communities in the southern portion of the service area (Canton, Norwood, Dedham, Westwood, and Stoughton) use approximately 5 mgd on an average and are served by a single water transmission main (Section 77).

This project will provide redundancy to Section 77 and is separated into three separate construction contracts. This contract, Contract 6454, will install approximately 11,000 linear feet of 36 inch diameter water main within DCR’s Stony Brook Reservation in Boston from West Roxbury Parkway, across Washington Street, along Enneking Parkway and end at the City line with Dedham on Dedham Parkway. The contractor, P. Gioioso & Sons is scheduled to begin work in September and be complete in the fall of 2018.
